CanTeen has teamed up with state-of-the-art, 5-a-side soccer providers, Soccer5s at their brand new $4 million centre in Dandenong, Melbourne.

1. CanTeen are looking to raise awareness locally and regionally for young people and families with someone that may be living with cancer.
2. Raise money to support CanTeen's important services and key support networks.

CanTeen is the best place to help young people deal with the challenges cancer brings because we get it.

CanTeen is the game changer. We help young people cope with cancer in their family. Through CanTeen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, we also provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how CanTeen is the difference.

CanTeen works by having young people at the centre of everything we do. We were set up by a group of young cancer patients in 1985 and still have young people affected by cancer guiding the organisation at every level. Combined with our leading edge research into the emotional and social impacts of cancer, it ensures that we truly understand how cancer is different in a young person’s world.

WHAT Mixed 5-a-Side Soccer Tournament

WHO Males and Females (minimum age is 14+)

• 3 x 20 minute group games guaranteed
• Elimination Finals and Grand Final

Team Requirements

• Teams can have minimum of 5 players - maxiumum 8 players
• Minimum 2 females outfield at all times (not including a GK) - remaining players can be male players
• Teams must have matching colour jerseys (bibs will be provided if not)
• Players can be of any ability
• Outdoor boots and shinpads are strongly recommended

On the day we will have heaps of activities, challenges and competitions for all teams to get involved in whilst the tournament is running, as well as networking sessions for businesses to take advantage of.
